We proudly held our 2nd Annual Mental Health & Wellness Event, a special day entirely dedicated to promoting self-care, mindfulness, and overall well-being within our community. This year’s event featured a wide variety of thoughtfully designed activities aimed at nurturing both mental and physical health, including a calming and restorative yoga session expertly led by the talented Ajeenah Abdul-Haqq. Attendees also benefited from insightful, expert-led discussions on various aspects of mental health, along with guided meditation practices and effective stress-relief techniques. Additionally, the event provided meaningful opportunities to connect with others in a warm, supportive community atmosphere. Whether attendees came with the goal of reducing stress, improving their overall well-being, or simply taking some much-needed time to care for themselves, this event offered a valuable chance to recharge and refocus on what truly matters—health, happiness, and inner peace.
