Before The Day is Over
Jummah Mubarak, sis
Allah says in the Quran: "Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves." (Surah Ar-Ra'd, 13:11)
You've made so many promises to yourself about your deen, your intellectual growth, your personal development. And I want you to pause for a moment and truly ask yourself: what tangible things have you actually accomplished since you made those promises? Not as a form of guilt or pressure, but as an act of love toward yourself. You deserve to be a witness to your own progress.
In two months, we will be halfway through the year. Can you believe that? Time is moving whether we are ready or not, and the days are not waiting for us to feel ready. I genuinely believe that if you looked back honestly, you would find real growth, in ways big and small, seen and unseen. But let's not just assume it. Let's actually do a check in.
So here is what we want you to do. Before the day is over, write down three things you have accomplished this year that you are proud of, one area where you know you need to be more intentional, and one specific action you are committing to this week. No long lists, no overwhelm. Just three things, one honest admission, and one next step.
Send it to me when you are done. We want to hear it, celebrate it with you, and help you hold yourself to it. You have everything it takes. Let's keep the momentum going, together.
