Spring Is Already Waiting

Jummah Mubarak sis,

"Allah is the One who created you from weakness, then made after weakness strength, then made after strength weakness and white hair. He creates what He wills, and He is the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful."
(Surah Ar-Rum, 30:54)

The Prophet ﷺ said: "How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for all of it is good... If something good happens to him, he is grateful, and that is good for him. If something harmful happens to him, he is patient, and that is good for him."
(Sahih Muslim)

Every season of a woman's life is written by Allah, and for the believer, every one of them holds good.

As October ends, most of the leaves are down. But look closely at the bare branches and you'll find tiny buds already formed, sealed tight and waiting. The tree made them before the cold ever came. Spring isn't something that happens after winter. It's already tucked inside it.

Allah tells us that He gives life to the earth after its death (57:17). He shows us this every year so we never forget that He can do the same with our hearts, our hopes, and our bodies.

Our monthly cycles have seasons, and so do our lives. There's girlhood, then womanhood, perhaps motherhood, and later the years when our cycles end altogether. The world often treats that later season as a fading. But think of a winter tree. With the leaves gone, you can finally see its true shape, every branch reaching upward, and the sky shining through. Some kinds of beauty only appear when everything extra has fallen away.

And Allah promises, twice, that with hardship comes ease (94:5–6). That ease doesn't come after the hardship, it comes with it, just like those buds on the branch.

Whatever season you're in today, you belong here, and you are more beautiful than you know.

Read Al-Kahf, send salawat, and make du'a in that blessed last hour. Jummah Mubarak.
