You Are Held By The One Who Never Forgets
Jummah Mubarak, sis! Allah gently reminds us, as women, not to be sad—for He knows the depths of our hearts better than anyone else ever could. Throughout the Qur’an, Allah acknowledges our emotions, our nature, and the silent battles we carry with grace. He sees the weight of what we hold within—the tears we hide behind every smile, the strength we show when we feel weak, and every emotion that flows through us, whether within our control or not.
He knows our essence, our tenderness, our resilience. And He reminds us that we are never alone. When the world overlooks the burdens we bear, Allah—the Opener (Al-Fattah), the Provider (Ar-Razzaq), the Most Merciful (Ar-Rahman), and the Most Loving (Al-Wadud)—sees us. He hears the unspoken prayers of our hearts and reassures us that He is with us through every trial and every tear.
So, let this Jummah be a reminder: you are seen, you are known, and you are held by the One who never forgets.
Allah reminds us not to let sadness consume us — not because our emotions are unworthy, but because He Himself holds every tear, every sigh, every unspoken ache. The Qur’an is filled with verses where Allah tenderly shows us that He sees, knows, and comforts those who feel unseen.
Surah Al-Qasas (28:13) – “So We returned him to his mother that she might be comforted and not grieve.”
This ayah recounts the story of the mother of Musa (Moses, as), whose heart trembled with grief when she was commanded to cast her baby into the river. Yet, Allah reunited her with her child — not immediately, but precisely when her heart could bear it.
This ayah teaches us that Allah never leaves a heart broken without healing it, and He restores what we lose in ways far greater than we could imagine.
He is reminding you, dear sister: your patience is not in vain; your heart’s ache is known to Him, and your comfort is written.
Surah Al-Ahzab (33:51) – “That will be better, that they may be comforted and not grieve.”
Here, Allah speaks of the emotional wellbeing of women — the wives of the Prophet (pbuh) — reminding us that Allah’s concern for our hearts and feelings is not small or overlooked.
This ayah reflects Allah’s gentle awareness of women’s emotional needs, showing that He, the Most Compassionate, recognizes the weight of our inner worlds. He cares that we find peace — not just in duty, but in our hearts’ ease. It is a divine validation that your emotions matter to the Lord of the Worlds.
Surah Maryam (19:24) – “Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream.”
When Maryam (as) faced the pain of childbirth alone, exiled and shamed, Allah sent her comfort — both in words and sustenance. The angel’s voice called out, “Do not grieve.”
Those words were not only for her, but for every woman who has ever felt abandoned, unseen, or burdened beyond her strength.
This ayah shows that in your lowest, loneliest moments, Allah provides relief from where you could never have expected it. He sends provision, comfort, and peace — sometimes quietly, sometimes in miracles — but always at the perfect time.
Surah Al-Qasas (28:17) – “My Lord, for the favor You bestowed upon me, I will never be an assistant to the criminals.”
After Musa (as) realized the consequences of his actions, he turned to Allah in repentance and gratitude. His awareness of Allah’s mercy transformed his regret into growth.
This ayah is a reminder that even in our moments of weakness, acknowledging Allah’s mercy redefines our story. It’s not our mistakes that define us, but our turning back to the One who knows our hearts.
It shows that healing begins the moment we remember Allah’s compassion — when we choose forgiveness, humility, and trust over despair.
You Are Held By The One Who Never Forgets
These ayat collectively remind us that:
- Allah comforts the mother who fears for her child.
- Allah acknowledges the emotions of women who feel unseen.
- Allah soothes the lonely heart that aches in silence.
- Allah guides and redeems those who have stumbled, turning pain into purpose.
So, when life feels heavy, remember:
Allah sees you. He knows the quiet strength you hold, the love you pour, and the burdens you carry.
And just as He comforted Maryam, reunited Musa’s mother, and guided Musa himself — He will comfort you too.
