Cycles of Life

Jummah Mubarak, sis! We’re still feeling deeply inspired and grateful after hosting our 2nd Annual Womb Wellness Workshop this past week, beautifully themed “Cycles of Life.”

This transformative event was much more than a workshop—it was a sacred space for education, healing, and sisterhood, centered around the importance of womb wellness and holistic health. Designed to uplift, inform, and empower, this gathering brought together individuals at every stage of their wellness journey—whether seeking deeper understanding, spiritual healing, or simply a sense of community.

The day began with a rejuvenating womb-centered yoga session led by the radiant Coach Ajeenah, grounding our minds and bodies in intentional movement and breath. This was followed by a deeply enriching panel discussion featuring four powerful voices in the field of wellness and women’s health:

  • Dr. Martina Mapa, DPT, WCS, CLT

  • Ajeenah Abdul-Haqq, MBA

  • Modupe Ariel

  • Aziza Johnson

Their shared wisdom, lived experiences, and professional insights created a space of collective healing and deep learning. From physical wellness to emotional and spiritual connections to the womb, the panel reminded us that our wombs are not only centers of biological creation—but sacred portals of intuition, energy, and transformation.

The virtual room was alive with love, knowledge, and sisterhood, reinforcing the truth that healing is communal, and wellness is our birthright.

Thank you to all who joined us and contributed to the magic. Until next time—may your cycles be honored, your voice empowered, and your womb nourished.

“He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, in three veils of darkness. That is Allah, your Lord. His is the dominion. There is no deity except Him, so how are you turned away?”

Surah Az-Zumar (39:6)

This ayah emphasizes that Allah creates human life in the womb in precise stages, within three layers of darkness—symbolizing protection, secrecy, and divine care. This ayah highlights the sacredness of the womb as a place where life is formed under Allah’s command, reminding us that the process of creation is not random but divinely orchestrated. In the context of womb wellness, it encourages honoring the womb physically, emotionally, and spiritually, recognizing it as a space of trust and divine responsibility. It calls for deep respect toward maternal health, the stages of pregnancy, and Allah’s wisdom in every detail of life’s formation—ultimately urging reflection, gratitude, and surrender to His will.
